A Night of Tartan, Tradition, and Toasts: Burns Night at Neston Masonic Hall

On Thursday, 23rd January, Neston Masonic Hall buzzed with tartan-clad revelry as Noctorum Lodge 5913 hosted a spirited Burns Night. The evening was a Highland fling of tradition and camaraderie, with W.Bro Deeks stealing the show as he addressed the haggis with poetic flair, his brogue echoing through the hall. The ceremonial dish, resplendent on its platter, received its due reverence before being devoured with gusto. Whisky flowed, toasts were raised, and laughter mingled with the skirl of bagpipes. A night of hearty fare, fine company, and Scottish pride—worthy of Rabbie himself! Slàinte mhath!

Welcome to our new Brother

Thursday 24th October saw us welcome a new member.  Brother James Trigg took his first step into Freemasonry.

Good luck on your journey James.

Congratulation W.Bro Neville

W.Bro Frank Neville Ward celebrated his 50th year in Freemasonry with an excellent evening at Neston Mason Hall.  Pictured here with his sons, Robin and Nigel.  Both have followed in their father's footsteps and are continuing the Masonic tradition.

Welcoming our newest Brother.

A special evening to admit Bro.Cairney into Noctorum.

We had an excellent gathering on Thursday 24th November 2022, to initiate our newest member into Noctorum 5913.  The ritual was performed to the highest standard, and we all wish Brother Cairney all the best as he starts his Masonic journey.

Burns Night Success

On Thursday 27th January, we held our first event in 2 years, and what a great night it was!  The event was very well attended, with members inviting their loved ones to join us at the Festive Board.  We were honoured to be joined by visiting Brethren who attended our Lodge meeting and helped to make the evening special.  Two pipers entertained the visitors, and W.Bro "Deeks" provided an excellent and unique Ode to the Haggis.  Top night!
